- After a 3-year investigation the Institute of National Remembrance announces that Fr.Blachnicki's death in 1987 was caused by Communist agents who were active among his co-workers in Marianum, Carlsberg, Germany - he was poisoned (heavy metals).
- The Golden Jubilee of the Act of Dedication of the Movement to Mary Immaculate, Mother of the Church and of the Domestic Church.
Opening of the Center of Integral Ecology in Krościenko. - August 6: Fr. Francis Blachnicki receives poshumously the Order of the White Eagle (the highest order of merit of the Republic of Poland).

- On September 30, 2015 Pope Francis recognized that Fr. Blachnicki had lived a model Christian life of heroic virtue. Since that moment we can use the title the Venerable Servant of God.
