The Movement has given me a lot. It taught me that all people are equal in the eyes of the Lord. It taught me that I can pray spontaneously, that God wants to lead me, and that He is continuously acting so that my life can be better and better. Now I know that God loves me and will never leave me. It is pleasant to experience the closeness of people that think similarly. Oasis is the place where I can rest and where I can focus on the Word and ask the Creator what it is all about. This is a place where people give you a hand, instead of rejecting you. Oasis is the place where I don’t have to pretend to be anyone else - where I can be myself!
