The Light-Life Movement showed me that God really loves me as I am and that He has a wonderful plan for me. The Movement also helped me to develop a deeper understanding of the Eucharist. I also learned to be outgoing and to be ready to share my experience. I discovered my talents, singing and playing the guitar, and God made me capable of using these talents to serve other people. I got to know many wonderful people in the Oasis, not only in my community but also in other communities where I meet people and talk and have fun with them! Each year during the holidays I go for retreats to beautiful, picturesque places where I can deepen my faith in God and meet new people.
