What has the Light-Life Movement given me? As the name suggests, the Movement gave me life… the New Life with Jesus Christ. Thanks to Oasis I am able to grasp what Jesus is doing for me in my life, that otherwise I would not notice. Everything that is happening is not a matter of coincidence, but His action. Thanks to the Movement I have a lot of acquaintances and friends I can count on, and I know that they support me with their prayer. It is through them I may experience God’s love. Thanks to the Movement I feel the need of community, and I do not feel lonely in the world. I think it’s very important for young people, because there is no greater treasure than a real friend.
